I do apologize for the delay, the hotel is going through some cosmetic and amenity changes, so it delayed the contract a bit. Please contact me if you have any questions. See you there!!

We are still here!!

What a year it has been! My family and I are in the process of moving into a new home and getting settled into school schedules. I'm sure things have been just as busy for everyone else. I wanted to let everyone know that we are setting up the Fall Retreat for the weekend of November 9-11, 2012. I am still in negotiations with the hotel over all of the details, and I will send out an email when all is complete. The hotel is going to be undergoing a remodeling of their lobby and dining area. My family and I stayed at a Courtyard in Charlotte that had already completed theirs and it was nice. It will effect how we do our meals, so that is what the discussion is with the hotel now. I want to do what is best for my retreat attendees! I will let you know the details when I get them. Just know for now that we are doing it that weekend and it will be at the Courtyard by Marriott Barefoot Landing as before. I will be taking a list of names of people that are interested so we can get a general headcount. I look forward to seeing everyone!

February Retreat

I hope the holidays were great for everyone. It is time to be finalizing the details for the February 10-12, 2012 retreat. If you are planning on attending, but have not reserved your spot, please do so as soon as possible. You can contact me directly at scrappingapril@aol.com or you can sign up using the paypal link under the retreat info page. The cutoff for guaranteeing the discounted hotel room rate is January 9, 2012, so please contact the hotel directly and make your reservation, tell them you are with the Scrappy Angels so you get the discount. That is also the date I would like to have all balances paid in full. If you need to make other arrangements, please contact me. I am not taking reservations for "day croppers" yet, I will do so as soon as I meet my hotel room obligation. Thank you for your understanding on this point.
