February Retreat

I hope the holidays were great for everyone. It is time to be finalizing the details for the February 10-12, 2012 retreat. If you are planning on attending, but have not reserved your spot, please do so as soon as possible. You can contact me directly at scrappingapril@aol.com or you can sign up using the paypal link under the retreat info page. The cutoff for guaranteeing the discounted hotel room rate is January 9, 2012, so please contact the hotel directly and make your reservation, tell them you are with the Scrappy Angels so you get the discount. That is also the date I would like to have all balances paid in full. If you need to make other arrangements, please contact me. I am not taking reservations for "day croppers" yet, I will do so as soon as I meet my hotel room obligation. Thank you for your understanding on this point. November retreat

We are having a lot of interest in the November retreat. Don't delay in making your reservation. I am accepting reservations from people staying at the hotel only at this time. I need to have 10 sleeping rooms booked to keep the retreat price low. Please let the hotel know you are with Scrappy Angels. After I have reached 10 sleeping rooms I will accept reservations from both people staying at the hotel and "day croppers". Thank you for your understanding. Creating Keepsakes Convention, Charlotte 2011

Woohoo! One more day until convention. Anyone going to the Creating Keepsakes Convention in Charlotte? I will be attending with my mom and sister. We went last year and had a blast! I can't wait to attend the wonderful classes, and of course SHOP. I hope to see a lot of the Scrappy Angels there, and don't forget to wear your Scrappy Angels shirts and spread the word about our wonderful retreats. I have printed up flyers to hand out also. See you there!

fall retreat info and payment button fixed

I have fixed a problem with the paypal button for the fall retreat, thanks Jo for letting me know it was not working correctly. Also the correct title and dates for the fall retreat are now posted. I hope this did not cause any confusion!!

It is all official. Hotel contracts have been signed!, and everything is ready to go. Information on the fall and winter retreats is up on the retreat info page. Paypal buttons are available. Sign up today!!! Space is limited!!

New Retreat Dates

We have new retreat dates to announce!!  Fall 2011 Retreat is November 4-6 and we have a retreat scheduled for February 10-12, 2012. I will be posting more information soon, and activating paypal buttons for paying deposits and/or full retreat prices for both retreats. We will be returning to the Courtyard by Marriott at Barefoot Landing for both retreats.

Sorry, long time no post!!

First, I do apologize for it being so long since I have posted. A lot has happened since the March crop, which was fantastic by the way!! Right after the crop my dad had a heart attack, then as he is recovering I started a new job, my husband started a new job and my kids were in every activity known to man lol. I am now trying to focus on putting together a fall crop. I am looking at the second weekend in November, with my new job, I work every third weekend so I have to plan the crop around that. I am scouting some oceanfront hotels as well as considering the Marriott where we had the March crop. I am also seeing about having a crop at that Marriott in March of 2012. If you have any suggestions for hotels or amenities you would like the hotel/crop room to have you can email me at scrappingapril@aol.com. I look forward to hearing from everyone!!
